Rising Hope

14th Star Brewing Co is honored to have been selected as the exclusive Brewing Funds The Cure Rising Hope partner for Vermont in this truly original collaboration between the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and other participating breweries across the country.

We had a blast brewing with awesome ingredients generously donated by The Country Malt Group, Yakima Chief Hops, and Amoretti Fruit to create Rising Hope — an IPA featuring Raspberries, Blood Orange, and Bulgarian Rose!

Brewed With A Mission™: 100% of the proceeds from Rising Hope will be donated to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation to benefit children who are battling cancer.

Rising Hope will be available on draft and in cans in our Brewery Taproom beginning on October 7th and will also be distributed to select locations throughout Vermont by our friends at Farrell Distributing.

Celebrate 200

Check out this behind the scenes video of us canning the sixth installment in our Norwich University Bicentennial Series, Celebrate 200!

For 200 years, Norwich has changed the lives of thousands of young men and women. Through shared struggle, challenge, a balance of physical, mental and moral education, and a love of country and of each other, we truly found a home on “the Hill.” We also found ourselves. We found a love for our communities and our country which compelled us to lead on the battlefield, in the boardroom, and in our own backyards.

We are excited to be able to Celebrate 200 years of tradition with this limited New England Session IPA brewed with Ekuanot, Citra, and Mosaic hops.

Cheers, and Essayons!

SBA Vermont Small Business Person of the Year

Steve Gagner of 14th Star Brewing Company discusses how SBA helped him expand his business, and how he leverages SBA veterans products to help his fellow veterans.

Humbled yet again, by awards and recognition for the efforts of everyone who makes the magic happen every day at the brewery. This time, it is being named the 2019 Vermont Small Business Person of the Year by the SBA.

I can’t emphasize how much this award not only belongs to our talented team as a whole, but also to Matt, my partner in crime, best friend and co-founder. If we can be proud of anything we have done, it’s showing other businesses that caring for other people FIRST helps the bottom line and makes the business a WIN-WIN for the community.

Thank you for your support of our little brewery!

Cheers,
